The captain was friendly, funny, and easy to get along with. He did his best to accommodate any request and made sure everyone had a great time—especially the kids. He genuinely wanted us to catch fish and leave satisfied. Awesome experience all around.

It was the first offshore trip for my 13- and 17-year-old, and even though the bite was slow, Captain Travis made sure we didn’t leave empty-handed. Both boys landed two solid Amberjacks, and we even got to see a few dolphins. We all had a great time—definitely recommend!

This 8-hour trip was hands down the best we've ever had. We caught plenty of fish, lost a few big ones, had sharks grab some on the way in, and even had a dolphin steal one. Captain Trotter definitely put us on the fish. He never rushed us or watched the clock—in fact, we stayed out two hours past our scheduled time on the 4th of July. It felt like fishing with a buddy’s dad. I really enjoyed watching him keep our teenagers in check. All they had to do was listen and pay attention, and he made sure of it. His no-nonsense approach didn’t bother me one bit—I actually appreciated it. I’d book with Captain Trotter again in a heartbeat.

Captain Travis is one of the best fishermen I’ve ever fished with—and I’ve fished all over the world, from Alaska and Hawaii to South Africa and across the U.S. His customer service is top-notch, and he went above and beyond to get us on the fish. It was a real pleasure fishing with someone who loves it just as much as you do. We caught over 10 different species, and it absolutely blew my cousin’s mind—it was his first time deep sea fishing! I’m already looking forward to heading back to Pensacola for another trip.
